Professional development for artists and their community partners is a core element of the Center’s work. We emphasizes collaborative curriculum design and cross-sector learning. Collaborative design creates training content that is both community specific and community sensitive. This approach helps builds sustained partnerships among artist professionals and partners from other sectors.

RESEARCH & EVALUATION
The Center has over 30 years-experience helping our clients learn and grow from their work. Our studies have helped our partners communicate their effectivenss and build community trust and accountability. We approach this work as both evaluators and researchers. Our process is designed to be efficient, credible, and unobtrusive. Most importantly, we leave clients with research/evaluation systems that can be used for or both current and future initiatives.

CSA&C works with communities and organizations to revitalize their missions and prepare for the future. Our planning approach is uncomplicated and most importantly, easy to use. We also assist clients as they develop and administer new or expanded programs. We have extensive expertise in the areas of Arts Education, Cross-sector cultural development, Arts in Communities and Social Institutions, Artists Residencies, and Advocacy.

CSA&C has extensive experience facilitating large and small groups (5-500) for planning, team-building, and leadership development. We have extensive experience using Open Space Technology as a tool for effective group collaboration and decision making. The process frees people to take responsibility for what they care about by uncovering the people with passion about important issues, who are willing to provide leadership, and exercise accountability.
